Gluten Free Snack Ideas #Giveaway

New gluten free Lola Granola Bars giveaway

When I'm on the run I try to always have something gluten free in my purse to snack on. I carry granola bars probably more than anything else because they are so portable and filling. Keep reading to see more #glutenfree snack ideas from me and my friends in the comments!

Other easy gluten-free snack ideas are homemade banana chips:
Slice banana into thin chips, dip in lemon juice, and spread on a cookie sheet.
Bake for 2 hours @ 200 degrees and flip. Bake for another 1.5-2 hours or until crisp.

Baggies of veggie sticks and string cheese

Yogurt cups or I make my own plain Greek yogurt with Stevia. This is my favorite go-to breakfast!

Turkey rollups:

Two slices of thinly sliced turkey, a little mustard and a stick of cheese rolled up.

  1. I would make homemade buttered popcorn. Sometimes I am naughty and I make homemade caramel popcorn with brown sugar, unsalted butter a hint of water. I boil for 5 minutes then I add a little bit of heavy cream. klp56@live.com Kelly Payton

  2. We bring gluten free chex mix, popcorn, trail mix and fruit when we travel. If I had my way we would bring gf sandwiches so we didn't have to eat at fast food places along the way, but I always get out voted. :)

    1. Dana, I get out voted sometimes too. Luckily I can do a chili and a frosty at Wendy's when they all want burgers (ps, I'm not endorsing Wendy's. It's not the healthiest food, but yummy in a pinch) :)

    1. Callahan4021, when we go to the beach I always take fruit, crackers and cheese, but I didn't think of nut butter. That's genius!

  6. I love to take along fresh fruit or nuts if I plan ahead, but I usually have a Larabar in my purse because it is easy. This time of year means a huge batch of homemade Chex mix, so that will be my go-to snack for the next few weeks.
