This weekend I attended Walmart's Gluten-Free Event in our local Superstore. It was so much fun!
This is a promotional post for Walmart and Glutino on behalf of Sverve. Disclosure: I was compensated for this post. All opinions are 100% my own.
I had to look down a few aisles before I spotted the stand. It's a big store! I was impressed by how prominently it was displayed in front of the meat department and how professional it looked. Our hostess was very friendly and happy to let me take her picture.
It's great to see gluten free advertised like this. Educating the public by bringing Celiac disease and gluten intolerance information out in such a friendly way is invaluable. I applaud Walmart and Glutino for the good work they are doing!
She was serving Glutino Chocolate Chip cookies and Luna Bars. I had one of each and both products tasted wonderful. She had people standing in line for a sample the whole time I was there.
Walmart is texting gluten-free recipes now. How cool is that?
I read the flyer they had out and it was accurate and informative. Our hostess told me that people were stopping by to share their stories and ask her questions. She referred them to the flyer and said she hoped it helped them find some answers. Click here to download a similar flyer from the National Foundation for Celiac Awareness.
Walmart has an incredible selection of gluten-free products to choose from!
I asked a shopper to take our picture and then said thanks and goodbye. Off to check out the aisles!
These are the cookies that I bought. I'll be posting a recipe using them soon.
Walmart has an amazing amount of gluten free products! There's also a gluten free section on the frozen aisle too.
Walmart's prices are great and I shop here often. I love knowing that when I travel I can always find a Walmart and a huge selection of gluten free food.
